Dorothy Hunt White, 84, formerly of Meredith Lane, died Dec. 10, 2002. Born in Charlotte, N.C., she wasthe daughter of the late Albert Ward and Emma Rose Lawing Hunt, and was the widow of Robert Lee White. She was a homemaker and was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church. Surviving are four daughters and their spouses, Judith Wells, Margery and Broadus Hipps, Kathy and Larry Brock, and Susan and Charles Ledford; a son and his spouse, Steven and Debbie White; a brother, Bob Hunt, and his wife, Barbara; 13 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Lyn Bellew. Visitation: 7 to 8:30 tonight, at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church. The Rite of Committal will follow at Greenville Memorial Gardens. The family is at 509 Fowler Road, Simpsonville.
