-> Dorothy Holter Carter, 82, of Savannah, GA died Sunday April 3, 2005 at her daughter's residence under the care of Vistacare Hospice. She was born in Blanchard, Pennsylvania and moved here in 1947. She was a Book Keeper at Kings Appliances and a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Mrs. Carter was preceded in death by her parents, William and Julia Kline Holter, and her husband, Thomas Alex Carter. Mrs. Carter is survived by two sons and daughters in law, Robert T. and Lynn Carter, of Baxley, GA, Carl W. and Leta Carter, of Savannah, GA; a daughter and son in law, Judy and Charles McCorkle, of Richmond Hill, GA; a sister, Julia Packer, of Blanchard, PA; six grandchildren four great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Monday at Hubert C. Baker Funeral Home Hodgson Memorial Chapel. Funeral Service: 11 a.m. Tuesday April 5, 2005 at Hubert C. Baker Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Peter Hartmann officiating. Inte rment will follow in the Greenwich Section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
