Dorothy "Dot" Hamilton, 90, Palmetto, died May 15, 2003. She was born July 5, 1912, in Van Wert, Ohio and came to Manatee County in 1936 from there. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Palm View First Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Karen S. of Palmetto; a son, Gary D. of Palmetto; and three grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Griffith-Cline Funeral Home, Mansion Chapel. Service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Palm View First Baptist Church, Palmetto. Burial will be in Mansion Memorial Park, Ellenton.
