Dorothy "Dottie" Goodwin Dottie, 93, passed on Jan. 15, 2015, at her residence in Florida. She and her husband Dan raised their children in East Rochester and Fairport. She was a charter member who served faithfully at Perinton Volunteer Ambulance Corps for many years. She remained civically active after retiring to Florida in 1982. Dottie was predeceased by her husband, William "Dan" Goodwin; grandson, Eric Goodwin; and great-granddaughter, Reese Coene. She leaves her daughters, Diane Coene of New York, Beverly Brownell of Florida and Shirley Ailes of Florida; sons, Terry Goodwin of Macedon and Wayne Goodwin of Illinois; sister, Carolyn Leopard of Florida; brother, Dan Warensford of Florida; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was laid to rest next to her husband in Hollywood Cemetery, Orange City, Fla. Memorials may be made to Florida United Methodist Children's Home, 51 Children's Way, Enterprise, FL 32725.
