HEASLIP, Dorothy Florence "Dot" It is with great sadness that we announce that Dorothy Florence Heaslip, born and raised in Westboro, passed away on Saturday, May 29, 2004 at the Queensway Carleton Hospital after a battle with cancer. Loving and caring wife and best friend of Robert (Bob) Heaslip whose heart sours with grief. Dorothy leaves behind a family that loves her so very much, her son Thomas Heaslip (Shirley) and daughter Ruth Shorkey (Bruce). She is deeply cherished and loved by granddaughters Hayley Heaslip and Jennifer Hirst (Jason) and grandson Gavin Payette. Dorothy leaves us a rich legacy of faith, love, loyalty, courage, and integrity. She was a remarkably strong woman who gave her time unselfishly and who lived her life to the fullest. She lit up the room with her sense of humour, loved life and her family and friends with passion. Dorothy will be deeply missed by her surviving sisters Marjorie, Viola, Barbara Allan (Dave), brothers Orval (Shirley), Rick (Elizabeth) and her sister-in-law Shirley Gordon. Predeaceased by her parents Benjamin and Dorothy (Keyes) Bradley, her sister Evelyn and brothers Wallace and Russell.
