Dorothy E. Chandler BERWICK, Maine - Dorothy E. Chandler, 84, of Cincotta Lane, passed away on Tues., May 28, 2013 at Varney Crossing with her family by her side. Dorothy was born on July 29, 1928 in Dover; the daughter of James and Margaret (Miller) Brennan. Dorothy was a homemaker; she loved being the center of her family. She loved taking care of her grandchildren and watching them grow. Her most favorite times in life involved all the family get togethers and sharing time with all of them. She enjoyed reading. Dorothy is survived by her children, son, Robert Chandler, Jr. and wife, Catherine of Scarborough, Maine; daughters, Diana Gaines and Donna Walters, both of Panama City, Fla.; daughter, Dorothy Robbins and husband, Craig of Payette, Ind.; son, Bruce Chandler of Berwick, Maine; son, James Chandler and wife Debra of Berwick, Maine; daughter, Darlene Ecker and husband, Robert of Sanford, Maine; son, Brian Chandler and fiancé, Doreen MacKenzie of Berwick, Maine; her 42 grandchildren and many, many great grandchildren and greatgreat grandchildren. She is also survived by siblings, Bruce and Cil Brennan of Dover, Renald and Mary Michaud of South Berwick, Maine, Jack and Catherine Harward of Fla., Rick and Barbara Ricker of S.C. and brother-in-law, Cleat Miller of S.C. Besides her parents Dorothy was predeceased by her husband, Robert E. Chandler, Sr. in 1984, daughter, Deborah in 1971, and son Joseph in 1994. Flowers are welcome. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Sat., June 1, 2013 at the Parish of the Assumption, St. Mary's Parish on Chestnut St., Dover, N.H. with Father Agapit Jean, officiating.
