STRAFFORD - Dorothy D. Williams, 97, of Strafford passed away peacefully Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012, at Hyder Family Hospice House in Dover, N.H.She was born on May 23, 1915, in Manchester, the daughter of the late Henry and Cora (Landry) Rogler.She graduated from Manchester West High School, Class of 1933. She worked for Charm Beauty Shop and later owned Profile Linen Service. Dorothy also did a lot of volunteer work through the years including Allen and CMC. She also was a member of the TAGS and Bow Lake Camp Owners Association. She was the wife of Miles Kelly, who was past president of the Manchester Lions Club.Mrs. Williams enjoyed dancing, gardening, and spending time out of doors with family.The widow of Myles P. Kelly and William P. Williams, she is survived by two children, Peter Mangelinks of South Carolina and Jacqueline Kelly of Strafford, N.H.; stepson, Joseph Kelly of Manchester, N.H; several grandchildren and nieces and nephewsTo sum up her life, she was a woman of substance.Visitation will be Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012, at the R.M. Edgerly & Son Funeral Home chapel, 86 South Main St., Rochester, N.H. from 1-3 p.m. There will be no funeral service.
