Retired Seminole Mill BATH, S.C. - Entered into rest on Tuesday, September 27, 2005, Mrs. Dorothy Corley Rhodes, wife of the late Mr. James Rhodes, of Huckabee Street, Bath, SC. Surviving are two sons and their wives, Kenneth and Linda King, Langley, SC and Clarence "Herbie" and Mary King, New Holland, SC; two daughters and their husbands, Ann and Wesley Ables, North Augusta, SC; and Aleta and Curtis Campbell, Clarks Hill, SC; a sister, Yvonne Overman, North Augusta, SC; twelve grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, and nine great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother, Samuel Corley and sisters, Sarah Baker, Alma Barnett, and Betty Eastwood. Mrs. Rhodes was born in Gloverville, SC to the late Eddie Lee and Ophie Weathersbee Corley. She retired from Seminole Mill and she was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church, Bath, S.C. Funeral service will be on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. in the Pine Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Louis Swanson officiating. Mrs. Rhodes will be placed in the church at 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Interment will follow in Langley Cemetery. Pallbearers are Charles Adams, Jimmy Bagwell, Larue Godbee, Jack Ott, Carlos Paige and Julian Roberts. Friends may call at the residence or on Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. Hatcher Funeral Home, U.S. Hwy. No. 1, Langley, SC.
