Dorothy Christine "Nana" Cox, born September 17, 1947 died September 16, 2014. Mrs. Cox was the daughter of the late Dorothy Russell and Willie Pond. She was preceded in death by her brother Bobby Pond. Early in her life she worked for the Western Supermarket Grocery Store Chain and was currently semi-retired from MTO Motors. Nana was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend and will be missed by everyone. She is survived by her daughter, Christy Harris Parker (Ricky), grandson, Drew Parker, granddaughters, Crystal and Rickanne Parker, great granddaughters, Destiny and Dallas Parker, brothers, Buddy "Willie" Pond and Johnny Pond, sister, Patsy Henson and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral Services were held at Kilgroe Funeral Home Leeds Chapel on Thursday, September 18, 2014 at 2 PM with burial at Jefferson Memorial Cemetery.
