Ms. Casey was born September 30, 1920 in New York City to the late Charles and Katherine Mamola. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband John in 1990. Loving mother of Carole (Steven) Knoth, Kenneth Casey, Kevin (Joann) Casey and Kathee (Skip) Pennucci. Sister of Katherine Taylor and the late Frances Berthold. Sister-in law of Henry Berthold. Adoring grandmother to Taryn McHale (Dan) O'Sullivan, David (Jessica) Johnson, Ryan and Shannon Casey, Chelsea and Nicole Pennucci and Kristen Casey. She was known affectionately as Gigi by her four great grandchildren Collin, Riley, Lexie and Niki who brought a renewed vigor to her life. Dorothy, a true matriarch, recently celebrated her 90th birthday in grand fashion surrounded by friends and family. Visitation Friday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at COXE & GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME, 767 E. Boston Post Rd, Mamaroneck 914-698-5968. Mass of Christian Burial at Most Holy Trinity Church, Mamaroneck on Saturday at 9 a.m. Interment will be at Greenwood Union Cemetery in Rye.
