Dorothy Casey QUINCY Dorothy (Bennett) Casey age 81 of Quincy formerly of Dorchester passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Sunday February1, 2009, after a lengthy illness. She was born in Boston, raised and educated in Dorchester. Resident of of Quincy for the past 46 years. Dorothy retired in 1992 as an accountant with the State Street Bank at the North Quincy office after 17 years. Dorothy loved spending time with family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and she also enjoyed baking and sewing. Beloved wife of the late John F. Casey, Sr. Loving mother of John F. Casey, Jr. of Shrewsbury , Judy Franco of Abington, Karen Casey-McLaughlin of Hanson , Richard Casey of Quincy , David Casey of Revere and Janet Carpenter of Weymouth. Devoted grandmother of 15 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Sister of Sarah (Betty) Cook of Dorchester , Patricia Blake of Virginia Beach , Barbara Haines of VT. and John Bennett of CA. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the McDonald Funeral Home, SO. WEYMOUTH at 809 Main St. (Rt.18, opposite South Shore Hospital) Wednesday at 9:00 A.M., followed by a Funeral Mass in St. John the Baptist Church in Quincy at 10:00 A.M. Interment will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m..
