Dorothy Mae Wynn Carter, 71, of 314 Turner Hill Road, died Sunday, April 23, 2006, at Greenville Memorial Hospital.Born in Greenville County, the daughter of the late Lethae Wynn, Mrs. Carter attended Furman University and retired from Saco Lowell Corporation. She was a member of Powdersville First Baptist Church.Surviving are her husband, Melvin W. Carter of the home; a son, Danny Carter and his wife, Rhonda, of Easley; a daughter, Julia Stephens of Union; and two grandsons, Matthew and Justin Carter.Funeral services will be at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road, with the Rev. Jack Hester officiating. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley.Visitation will be today, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.The family is at the home of Danny and Rhonda Carter, 444 St. Paul Road, Easley, SC 29642.Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown is assisting the family with arrangements.
