CARR _ Dorothy Dorothy Carr was born September 14, 1920 and passed away at the Mayfair Care Centre on Saturday, February 10, 2007. She was predeceased by her husband of fifty years, Tom, in 1991, grandson Darreld MacKenzie in 2002 and sister Bessie Snoxell in 2006. Dorothy leaves to mourn two daughters, Donna MacKenzie and Doreen (Bill) Sanders and grandson Randy and his wife Dorothy. Dorothy was born in Carmangay, AB, and grew up around the Fort McLeod area. She moved to Calgary in 1940, married Tom and they raised their family. Dorothy worked for Stampede Wrestling selling tickets and The Bay ticket wicket until she retired in 1988. She will be truly missed by her family and friends. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of MOUNTAIN VIEW FUNERAL HOME on Wednesday, February 14, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, if so desired, a memorial donation may be made directly to the Alzheimer's Society of Calgary, 201, 222 - 58 Avenue S.W., Calgary, AB T2H 2S3.
