-> Ms. Dorothy A. Owens, 63, died on Wednesday, June 1, 2005 at her daughter residence in Pembroke, Georgia under the care of Hospice Savannah, Inc. after a long illness. She was born in Bryan County to Mrs. Harriett Owens and the late Edward Owens. She resided in Syracuse, New York for over 40 years. She was under the watch care of Saint Luke Missionary Baptist Church in New York. She was formerly employed with Char-Walls Food Services in Syracuse, New York. She moved to Pembroke, Georgia in September 2004. She was a member of Beautiful Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Pembroke, Georgia. She is survived by a special friend Ernest Harrison of Syracuse, NY; one daughter, Kim Perry of Pembroke, GA; two sons, Edgar Owens of Pembroke, GA, Craig Owens of Syracuse, NY; her mother, Mrs. Harriett Owens of Pembroke, GA; one sister, Bernice (Corbett) Patterson of Syracuse, NY; one daughter-in-law, Mary Owens of Pembroke, GA; one son-in-law, Fluorry Perry of Pembroke, GA; and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held 7:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, June 3, 2005 in Robena Raymond Memorial Chapel at Craig R. Tremble and Sons Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 4, 2005 at Beautiful Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Pembroke, Georgia with Rev. C.L. Anderson officiating. Burial: Church Cemetery. Craig R.
