MOREL Dorothy A. (nee Reid), 87, of Brick, NJ, formerly of Hawthorne, NJ died Friday, December 26, 2008 at Ocean Medical Center, Brick, NJ. Born in Paterson, NJ, Mrs. Morel resided in Hawthorne for thirty-five years before moving to Brick in 1985. She was a member of the Rosary Society of St. Martha's R.C. Church, Point Pleasant, NJ and a former parishioner of St. Anthony's R.C. Church, Hawthorne, NJ. Mrs. Morel worked for many years as a secretary and before her retirement worked at Motorola Inc., Fair Lawn, NJ. She was pre-decased by her husband, Charles J. Morel, (2005) and by her four sisters; Claire Decker, Margaretta Reid, Ruth Gerdes and Mary Louise Carlile. Survivors include her four sons; Charles W. Morel of Usk, Washington, David P. Morel and his wife, Barbara of South Riding, Virginia, James A. Morel and his wife, Diane of Mt. Laurel, NJ and Andrew J. Morel and his wife, Mary C. of North Caldwell, NJ; and ten grandchildren. Funeral Services will be 8:30 AM Saturday from Bizub-Parker Funeral Home, 47 Main St., Little Falls and 9 AM at Holy Angels R.C. Church, 465 Main St. at Rt. 23 N, Little Falls.
