RUPERT -- Dorothea Jane Gage, 88, passed away Friday, July 21, 2006, at Bennington Health & Rehabilitation in Bennington.She was born on Sept. 20, 1917, in Newark, N.J., to George and Minnie (nee-Lauer) Fee. She lived in Hillside and was a lifelong resident of the Parsippany and Montville area. She resided at Baldwin Oaks until October of 1997, when illness forced her to live in Rupert.She received her education in Irvington, N.J.She was the secretary to the vice president of Norda Chemicals in Boonton, N.J., from 1955 until retiring in 1987.She enjoyed crocheting and sewing. She was a member of the Parsippany Senior Club.She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Walter C., on Jan. 24, 1980, whom she married on March 15, 1941. She was also predeceased by her loving daughter, Phyllis Ruth Gage in 1958; her dear brother, John L. Fee; and her sister, Elizabeth Brueschwyler.Survivors include her loving daughters, Myra Helmlinger of Lake Hiawatha, N.J., Elizabeth (Libby Gage) Morey of Rupert, Gail Armstrong of Granville, N.Y., Edna Williams of Laurel Hill, N.C., and Margaret Borys of Mufrees Boro, Tenn.; her dear brother, Robert Fee of Fruita, Colo.; her cherished 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her close friend, Rosario (Rosy) Cassella of Fairfield, N.J.Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Tuesday, July 25, 2006, at 11 a.m. at the Par-Troy Funeral Home, 95 Parsippany Road, Parsippany, N.J., 973-887-3235. Interment will be at the Hollywood Memorial Park in Union, N.J.
