Doris Virginia Smith SIDNEY Doris Smith passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on May 14, 2014, at age 88. Predeceased by her husband, Stanley, she is survived by her sister, Carolyn Smith (Sauquoit, NY); daughter, LuAnn (Tom) Holdrege, of Sidney, NY; sons, Steve (Paula) Smith, of Rochester, NY, and Tim (Kathleen) Smith, of Dallas, TX; grandchildren, Erin (Alan) Blancaflor, of Everett, WA, and Amy Nieves (Dale Losee), of Bainbridge, NY; and many nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of the late Lester and Josephine Coons. No prior calling hours. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, May 27th, at the United Methodist Church, 12 Liberty St., Sidney, NY. There will be a private interment ceremony following. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sidney United Methodist Church or St Ann's Foundation, 1500 Portland Ave., Rochester, NY 14621.
