TAYLOR Doris (nee Freed) Doris passed away January 15th, 2008 in her 86th year. She was a strong person who endured many hardships in her early life. Her life changed dramatically for the better when she married Henry Taylor and they successfully co-managed the "Kiddie's Warehouse" in Vancouver for many years. Later when her mother became ill she looked after her with the utmost care. This set a pattern of caring for others which was to be followed for the rest of her life. In addition to caring for her mother she also looked after her husband Henry, her second husband, Jack, her Aunts and her brother, Cyril. She was the ultimate care giver. She had no equal. She is fondly remembered by her grandson Mike Williams (Barbara), great-grandchildren Linda and Robert, sister-in-laws Phyllis Freed and Helen Freed, many nieces and nephews, cousins Doug Sieberg (Mary Steel), Barry Brookes (Margaret), Joane Humphrey (Frank Howard), Lawrence Humphrey (Maria), John Dawson (Alma) and her many friends.
