JEFFREY, Doris - At Meadow Park Nursing Home on Saturday October 3rd, 2009, Mrs. Doris Jeffrey of Chatham in her 72nd year. Cherished daughter of the late Milton and Mary Jane (Hotte) St. Pierre. Doris Mary was born the 5th of April 1938 in Chatham. Loving mother of Bonnie Desjardins of Chatham, Susan Gatcke and her husband Monti of Kelowna, B.C., Carol Lyons of Victoria B.C., Danny and his wife Brenda, and Robert, all of Calgary. She will be fondly remembered by her fifteen grandchildren and her sixteen great grandchildren. Dear sister of Marie Pettit, Norm St. Pierre and his wife Edie, Elvin St. Pierre and his wife Barb, and Robert St. Pierre, all of Chatham. Also survived by four nieces and eight nephews. Predeceased by her husband Robert, and her brothers Don and Phil. Doris worked in the Accounting firm for Shultz-Leong in Calgary for many years before retiring and moving to Chatham in 2003. A memorial service for Mrs. Doris Jeffrey will be held at Evangel Community Church, 76 Sandy St, Chatham, on Thursday October 8th, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Bill Pipke officiating. Cremation has taken place. Interment St. Anthony's Cemetery, Chatham. Friends planning an expression of remembrance are asked to consider the Gideon Bible Society and Canadian Bible Society.
