March 27, 1957 - January 29, 2012It is with immense sadness that I announce the sudden passing of my mom on January 29th at the Cowichan District Hospital after an inspiring and truly courageous battle with cancer.She is survived by her brothers Kevin(Patty) and Ginther(Marie) and their families, as well as mom-in-law Pat, nephews Mike(Alexandra) and Alan, "second daughter" Kyla, "son" Richard and family, her Ingram Pharmacy family, and many great friends old and new.She will be reunited with her soulmate Russ(2008), mom Emma and dad Floyd, father-in-law Ross, and sister-in-law Cheryl.My mom was an amazing woman. She was not only the best mom anyone could ask for but also my best friend. She worked so hard all her life and possessed an inner strength that was more than admirable. While her time on Earth was not nearly long enough, she shared enough love, laughter and memories with her family and friends to last a lifetime.A celebration of her life is being held Saturday, February 11th at First Memorial Funeral Services at 375 Brae Rd., Duncan, at 4:00pm.Mom, I will miss you every single day, but I know that you and Dad are together again, forever watching over all of us.
