TROY Doris M. Brown Lee, 85, of Troy, died Sunday, September 3, 2006 at Samaritan Hospital, after a brief illness. Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Vira Kendall Brown and the widow of Eugene G. Lee. Mrs. Lee was educated in the Troy Public Schools. She was employed as a clerk with the New York State Comptroller's Office until her retirement. Survivors include two daughters, Linda Filarecki of West Sand Lake, Nancy (Bill) Hudson of Galway; one son, Stephen C. Lee of Troy; one grandchild, Laurie Bortscheller of Poestenkill; two great-grandchildren; one sister, Heather Majer of Hamburg, N.Y.; also survived by several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Friday 10 a.m. at the John H. Clinton Funeral Home, Washington Park and Third Street, Troy. Calling hours will be held Thursday 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
