Mrs. Doris Causey Henderson, of Southside, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 1, 2014, at the age of 68. Funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2014, at Riverview Baptist Church in Southside. Dr. Matthew Morrison will officiate. Graveside service and interment to follow at Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery. Morgan Funeral Chapel & Crematory directing.Mrs. Henderson was a member of Riverview Baptist Church. She received Christ as her personal Savior at age 22 and served the Lord faithfully with a continual burden for missions and others. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Florence Causey; grandson, Mahlon Curtis Nichols; sisters, Francis Stephenson and Dorothy King; and a brother, Clarence Causey.She leaves behind, husband, Jackie Henderson; daughters, Tammy Reeves (Israel), Meg Hurley (Tony); grandchildren, Melonie Rueger (Donald), Emilie Harris (Brett), Matthew Nichols, Drew Hurley, Destin Reeves; three great-grandchildren; brothers, Sam Causey and Travis Causey (Loretta); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Tony Hurley, Israel Reeves, Matthew Nichols, Drew Hurley, Brett Harris, Travis Causey, Vernon Stephenson and Paul Stephenson.Sam Causey and Donald Rueger will serve as honorary pallbearers.The family will receive friends for visitation from 6 to 8 this evening at Riverview Baptist Church.
