Doris E. St. Pierre, 74 CASWELL & FARMINGTON -- Doris E. St. Pierre (Sis, Dot), 74, died peacefully with her family, Aug. 27, 2007, at her home in Farmington. She was born in Connor Plantation, May 19, 1933, the daughter of Roland and Isabelle (Lizotte) Baron. She was a graduate of Caribou High School and was employed by J.C. Penny and the State Department of Unemployment. Doris married Victor J. St. Pierre of Caswell on Aug. 6, 1955. She lovingly raised their children on the family farm. She truly enjoyed her family and friends, spending countless hours sewing and cooking. Doris was well known for her culinary skills and entertaining. The door was always open and the coffee was always on. Later she was employed as a Town Clerk of Caswell for 20 years and enjoyed helping with craft projects at the elementary school. She moved to Farmington to be closer to her grandchildren and enjoyed watching them grow. Her positive outlook and her courageous will to take care of others sustained her in her later years. She was predeceased by her husband Victor; her mother; father; and brother, Louis Baron. Doris is survived by four daughters, Vicki Foster and her husband Peter of Farmington, Jean St. Pierre and her husband Christopher Dowe of New Gloucester, Donna St. Pierre of Easton, Eva St. Pierre and her husband John Redlon of Saco; five grandchildren, Jared Foster, Benjamin Dowe, Molly Dowe, Parker Redlon and Ella Redlon; two nephews, Freddy Baron of Texas and Dr. David Vaughan and wife Linda of Windam; and four nieces, Linda Burby of Connor, Vicki Vaughan and husband Tim Hubbard of Windam, Kathleen Kingsly and husband David of Windam, and Michelle Vaughn of Windam, and their families. She will be missed by all. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 1, 2007, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hamlin followed by a graveside service at the St. Louis Cemetery in Limestone. A celebration of life reception will be held at the Dawn Barnes Elementary School immediately following interment.
