Doris E. Rousseau, 76, died Jan. 5, 2009, at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach. She was born in Plainfield, N.J., and moved to Vero Beach 24 years ago, coming from Cape May Pointe, N.J. She graduated from Cazenovia College, Cazenovia, N.Y., in 1951, with an associate degree in business. She attended Calvary Baptist Church, Sebastian, and St. Peter's by the Sea Episcopal Church, Cape May Pointe. Survivors include her sons, Robert E. Rousseau of Vero Beach, Gary L. Rousseau of Villas, N.J.; sister, Joan Leonhard of Newtown, Pa.; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Renee Behrens. Memorial contributions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, 3659 Maquire Blvd., Suite 110, Orlando, FL 32803. SERVICES: A memorial service will be 9:30 a.m. Jan. 8 at Calvary Baptist Church, Sebastian. Arrangements are by Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory, Vero Beach.
