Mrs. Doris "Dot" (Dover) Clark, age 68, of Atlanta Highway, Flowery Branch, passed away Sunday, Oct. 5, 2008, at her residence following an extended illness. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2008, in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Dr. Tom Smiley will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Clark was born in Union County and was the daughter of the late Joe Dover and Estelle (Latimer) Dover. She was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Clark worked at Warren Featherbone for many years and was a member of Blackshear Place Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, S.J. Clark; and brother and sisters, J.S. Dover Marvin Dover, Bobbie D. Worley, Eddie Dover and Carol D. Apple. Mrs. Clark is survived by her son, Benson J. Clark, Flowery Branch; brother, Eugene, Grover C. and Otis Dover, all of Gainesville; as well as a number of other family and friends. Memorial Park Funeral Home, Gainesville
