(Goodwin) Peacefully, on Thursday, December 25, 2003 at the age of 76. Beloved wife of Tom and loving mother of Tom Jr. (Nancy), Beverly (Phil), Doris (Kevork) and Bill (Nicole). Dear Nana to Justin, Jason, Shawn, Steven, Kristina, Jaclyn, Madeleine, Ethan and Declan. Benetta will also be greatly missed by her brother Fred Goodwin and sister Muriel Davis and fondly remembered by her other family members and many good friends. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors and staff of the 5th floor of the Ottawa General Hospital for their professionalism and compassion in making Benetta's journey more comforting. A celebration of Benetta's life will be held at the Manotick United Church, Manotick, Ontario on Tuesday, December 30, 2003. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at 10:00 a.m. Service will imêmediately follow at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
