EDWARDH, Doris December 6, 1930 - January 31, 2006 Doris Edwardh passed away peacefully at the Delta Hospital. Doris fought a very courageous battle against cancer and her osteoporosis, displaying strength and dignity, and will always be remembered for her selfless manner and extremely giving spirit that touched everyone who knew her. Doris was born in Wetaskiwin, Alberta in 1930. She attended school there and graduated in 1947. In her last year of High School she was the Carnival Queen of Westaskiwin. Doris became a Radiological Technician and worked until the birth of her first son. Doris then became a full-time homemaker not only for her family, but took care of her extended family with loving care in their time of need. Doris was predeceased by her mother and father and brother Raymond Anderson. She will be greatly missed by her loving family, her husband Cal of fifty-two years; son Greg and son Brad and wife Carmelle and grandson John Calvin Edwardh. She also leaves to mourn, her sister-in-law Joyce Anderson and Kay Edwardh and many nephews and nieces, cousins and friends. Special thanks to all those wonderful health caregivers at the Delta Hospital in Ladner. From the time she entered emergency to the lengthy stay in the Hospice Room she was treated with love and dignity. Bless you all! A Memorial Service will be held at the Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre, 14831 - 28 Avenue, White Rock at 2:00 p.m., February 11, 2006.
