ELLIOT, DONNA SUE WHITE, 72Donna Sue White Elliott, 72, beloved and devoted wife of Robert S. Elliott for 53 years was born July 16, 1935 to George and Madolin White of Morgantown, West Virginia. She passed from this life on December 1, 2007 at North Florida Regional Medical Center following an extended period of illness. Donna was raised in Morgantown, WV. She attended Morgantown High School and was a member of the MHS band and participated in several organizations. She briefly attended West Virginia University but instead chose the vocation of homemaker. Always laughing, she loved life, traveling and never met a stranger. After her marriage, she devoted her life to the calling of home and family and worked as a switch board supervisor for the Bell Telephone Co, now AT&T. The essence of her life in addition to her wonderful sense of humor, included the pursuit of always finding the best in others and herself. Always elegant in manner, appearance and speech, seeing her you knew you were in the presence of a woman of excellence. Her legacy includes her children: daughters Robyn Elliott and Sandy Knight (Phillip) of Carrollton, TX and Gainseville FL respectively; son Bob Elliott (Claire) of Hudson, FL; three sisters, Jean Gabbert of Madeira Beach, FL Jane Means of Greenville, NC Patricia Vesano of Charlotte, NC, brother David White also of Charlotte, NC; her seven beautiful grandchildren Aaron, Ian, Heather, Nicholas, Ashley, Alexis, Amanda; three great-grandchildren Christopher, Stephen and Robby and many close friends too numerous to name. Viewing will be held on Wednesday, December 5, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. with funeral service following at 11:00 a.m. at: First Baptist Church at Indian Rocks, 12685 Ulmerton Rd, Largo, FL 33774.
