CROCKER, Donna (nee Smith) - 1947- 2007 - It is with the deepest sorrow that the family announces the peaceful passing of Donna Crocker, age 60, of Petawawa, Ontario, on Tuesday, September 4th, 2007 at the Deep River and District Hospital. Donna was predeceased by her beloved father, Richard Smith; cousin Gail Spittle of Petawawa and formerly of Thunder Bay, Ontario. A pillar of strength and selflessness, Donna will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by her husband and best friend of 39 years, Allan; mother Mary Smith; sons Richard of London, Ontario and Stephen of Pembroke; daughter Kristen Taylor of Hamilton, Ontario, and daughter-in-law Sara Lapointe of Pembroke. Donna will be most especially missed by her grandchildren Brady Crocker of Cornwall, Ontario, Reid Taylor of Hamilton, Ontario and Emma Crocker of Pembroke, who brought her the greatest pride and joy. Donna also leaves behind aunts, uncles and cousins and many close and dear friends with whom she spent much time in laughter and good cheer. Cremation has taken place and internment will be at a later date at Mountain View Cemetery in Thunder Bay. A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of the NEVILLE FUNERAL HOME on Saturday, September 8th, 2007 at 2 p.m. In memory of Donna, the family requests that donations to the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario would be appreciated in lieu of flowers.
