OWEN, DONNA MARIE REINERT, 64, of Louisville, passed away on Wednesday, July 02, 2014 at her home. Born in Louisville, Donna was a 67' graduate of Westport High School, and retired Supervisor from the Jefferson Co. Circuit Clerk's Office (Suit Desk). She was a founding member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, and created the Swiss German band she formed with her siblings in 1979, the Einsiedlers. She was an avid reader, historian, musician, and loved her family. Donna was preceded in death by her father, Elmer J. Reinert; brother, Paul E. Reinert; and father-in-law, Floyd H. Owen. She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Stephen Owen, Sr.; children, Stephen Owen, Jr. (Deanna) and Anna Sheehan (Dustin); grandchildren, Samantha Owen and Aidan Sheehan; mother, Dolores J. Reinert; brother, Thomas A. Reinert (Jackie); sister, Bernice A. Widmayer (Warren); and mother-in-law, Mildred A. Owen. Donna's funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Monday, July 7 at St. Margaret Mary, 7813 Shelbyville Road, with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 pm on Sunday at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Hosparus, or Knights of Columbus Bishop Spalding Council #2761.
