DONNA MARIE NOWLING HENDERSON AND SAMANTHA IRENE COMBS Donna and her daughter, Samantha, of Silverhill, Alabama, passed away March 9, 2010. Donna Henderson, age 52, was born in Pensacola, FL, on April 3, 1957 to Willard Nowling and Florence Irene Mathis. She was employed at the McCollough Institute, Gulf Shores, Alabama. Donna was a much beloved daughter and sister who was a peaceful and quiet soul. She was a graduate of Tate High School, where she sang in the Chorus. Donna loved music and had a beautiful voice. We will all remember her love of laughter and most especially her love of her daughter, Samantha. Samantha, age 18, was born in Pensacola, FL, on April 22, 1991 to Donna Henderson and Michael Combs. She was a 2009 graduate of Fairhope High School and attended Remington College, Mobile Campus, as a pharmacy technician student. She was employed at Willie T's in Robertsdale, Alabama. Samantha was loved by both her family and friends. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile and the joy she brought to those around her. Preceded in death by Donna's parents; step-mother, Helen Marie Nowling; and brother, Robert Nowling, they are survived by Donna's brother, Will Nowling (Sally); sister, Pam Luke (Terry); sister, Tamela Nowling; brother, Ed Nowling (Ginger); and brother, Paul Nowling (Samantha); as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. They are also survived by Samantha's step-brother, Owen Henderson. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, March 26, 2010 at Gonzalez United Methodist Church.
