Funeral for Donald Wayne “Dummy” Davis, 52, of Moulton will be Thursday, Jan. 15, 2004, at 11 a.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home Chapel with Steve Hood and Junior Hale officiating. Burial will be in Corinth Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home. Mr. Davis died Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2004, at his residence. He was born Oct. 6, 1951, in Ripley, Tenn., to Hick Davis and Rebecca Greer Davis. He was a truck driver for Dewey Rutherford Trucking. Survivors include his wife, Hope Hale Davis; one son, John Wayne Davis of Moulton; one daughter, Becky Apostol of Moulton; four sisters, Martha Roberson of Dyersburg, Tenn., Mary Walker and Dot McAllister, both of Memphis, and Judy Sensabaugh of Stanton, Tenn.; his mother-in-law, Nancy Boyles; and two grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Tony Hale, Jimmy Reiser, O’Neal Hood, Thomas Montgomery, Wayne Lindsey, Waylon Hagood, William Latham and Jeffery Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be George Reiser, Dewey Rutherford, Eudon Bailey and Timothy Clark.
