HARRINGTON, Donald PatrickJuly 19, 1946 – February 25, 2015Passed away peacefully at home in the comfort of his loving family. Loving father of Michael (Carolina) and Katie (Aaron). Proud grandpa to be of Audrey. Beloved son of the late Harold P. Harrington and the late Elizabeth Harrington (McHale). Dear brother of Anne Murphy (T.J.), Colleen, Bob, Pat Cmar (John) and Kerry. Cherished uncle of Julie, Stephen, Beth, Quinn, Haley, Stephanie, Anthony, Spencer and Michael. A well respected employee of Ford Motor Co. for 42 years; a specialist in Materials Management, Global Logistics and later a key member of the maintenance teams in Windsor. He was a proud member of Local 240. Don enjoyed participating in numerous sports in his younger years and later in life he enjoyed the many sports successes of his children as he fully supported their sporting and academic careers. Don loved a funny story and sharing a laugh. He especially enjoyed relaxing with family and friends in the Ottawa Valley at Mink Lake. Don will be remembered as a kind and respected man of his word. He was a dedicated volunteer with and would appreciate donations to Windsor Goodfellows.
