Donald-Lee Johnson, né en 1928, conjoint de Selena Johnson, père de Patricia, Karen, Kevin, George et Dominic, est décédé le 28 novembre 2011 à l'âge de 83 ans.
JOHNSON Donald Lee Johnson, 83, longtime resident of Jacksonville, passed away November 28, 2011. He was born in Englewood, Colorado and attended Baker University in Baldwin, Kansas where he received his Bachelor of Arts Degree. Don also did graduate work at Baker for his Masters Degree. A draftee, he served in the US Army medical corps. After his service he worked for the Duval Public Schools and later was the Executive Director of Pine Castle School which served the mentally impaired Students. He also worked for the Jacksonville Paper Company, Robert Meyer Hotel and served as Executive Director of the Downtown Council. Don went on to establish Donald L. Johnson and Associates, Inc. a public relations firm. A very active and involved citizen, he was a member of many clubs and organizations that seek to make a difference. Don is a devoutly religious man and served as a pastor. He taught bible sturdy for many years. Currently he is an active member of Highland Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Selena, a daughter, Patricia Johnson, a sister Marilyn Niehus, four step children, Karen Gomes, Kevin Gomes, George Gomes and Dominic McKlmon and many dear friends. A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 2 at 2:00 pm at Highland Baptist Church, 2159 Broward Road, Jacksonville.
