VALLEY FALLS Donald Hambone Hamilton, 64, of Kelleher Blvd., died Saturday, January 3, 2004 at his residence. Born in Albany, he was son of the late Carl and Lottie Batchelder Hamilton. He was a 1957 graduate of Lansingburgh High School. Most recently, he had been employed by Goldstein's Auto Group and retired in 2001. Prior to that, he was employed for 36 years at the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles in Albany. He was a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard Reserve. He was a member of the Lansingburgh Veterans Club and the Saratoga Racing City Chorus. He was a former member of the Watervliet Lodge of Elks. He is survived by his wife, Sheila Kelleher Hamilton. He is father of Donna M. Hamilton of Albany, Douglas C. Hamilton of Troy, Mrs. Theron (Brianna) Fillmore of Schaghticoke and Stacey A. Hamilton of Albany. He is the proud grandfather of Tyler and Cody Hamilton of Brattleboro, Vt. and Cooper Fillmore of Schaghticoke. Funeral services will be Tuesday evening at 8 p.m. at Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home, 133 Broad St. (Rt. 32), Waterford. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery, Schaghticoke in the spring.
