HAMILTON - Donald. It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Don on Sunday, March 6, 2005, after a lengthy battle with cancer at the age of 52. Along with the love of his life, Sharon, he will be dearly missed by his step-children, Greg and Jaime Provo; his grandson, Carson; and many extended family including his godchild, Carter; motherin-law, Mary Klus; brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Don was a devoted man in all aspects of life, not only to his family to whom he gave his heart and soul, but also to his work. As an educated man, he fell into his destiny of working with mentally disabled people as Executive Director of Crocus Coop where he shone as a leader and a friend to many. Endless hours were spent there, with members whom he loved like family, a home away from home. When not at work you could find Don in front of his computer. He loved to learn and also to teach. Don will be lovingly remembered by those he touched with his kindness, generosity and sense of humor. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 11, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church (8 Moore Place, Saskatoon, SK) with Rev. Fr. Kevin McGee, Celebrant. Interment will take place at a later date. In Don's memory, donations may be made to the Crocus Coop, 105 Avenue B South, Saskatoon, SK, S7M 1M1. Condolences may be emailed to park@arbormemorial.com.
