Donald Roy Hale died Friday, Nov. 14, 2014 at his home in Casey County. He was 73. Born July 26, 1941 in Casey County, he was the son of the late Arnold Roy and Marie Miller Hale. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He was the widower of Brenda Sue Whited Hale. Survivors include a son, Mike Hale of Moreland; two daughters, Pam Nichols of Corpus Christi, Texas and Melissa Richards of Casey County; six grandchildren; and two sisters. Funeral services were Nov. 16 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Shirley Denson, Bro. Phillip Smallwood, and Bro. Rocky Kirk officiating. Mr. Donald Hale will be laid to rest in Poplar Grove Cemetery.
