ERICKSON, Donald (Don)A caring and beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin and friend, Don (Donald Hilmer Erickson), born July 5, 1955 passed away suddenly on March 27, 2015. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by: his wife, Maryanne; his son, John; his daughter, Leanne and husband, Mike; brothers, Wally and Dan; sisters, Karen (Kevin), Mary and Loni; sister-in-law Patricia Labuke; brother-in-law Barton Labuke; nephews, Liam, James (Corinna), Alex, Jason (Davina) and Lawren (Eva); nieces Barbara, Sara (Bruce) Marissa, Shayla, and Lisa; three great-nephews, Eric, Simon, and Christian; three great-nieces, Maple, Gabby and Serenity, and many friends. Don, although suffering with poor health for the past several years, displayed many talents as he enjoyed working on a variety of home improvement projects. He enjoyed recreational travel with family and we all enjoyed joining him in larger family picnics and camping events. Family members also appreciated his and Maryanne's welcoming Christmas Eve celebrations for many years since the passing of his parents, Carl and Sophie Erickson. Don was predeceased by his brother, Carl. A Memorial Service will take place at the Garden Hill Funeral Home on Sunday, April 12, 2015 at 11765 – 224th Street in Maple Ridge at 11:00 a.m. Expressions of sympathy can be made atwww.gardenhill.ca
