Crane Operating EngineerWINTER HAVEN -- Mr. Donald I. Clark of Winter Haven died of heart disease Monday (Nov. 25, 2002) at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. He was 77.Born in Fulton, N.Y., on March 8, 1925, he came to Winter Haven from central New York state in 1987. He was a crane operating engineer for the union, and a 50-year member of the Operating Engineers of the Local No. 545, Syracuse, N.Y. He was a veteran of World War II. He was a Protestant.Mr. Clark is survived by his wife, Joan M. Clark; sons, Donald G. Clark, Perry Clark, both of Fulton, Russell J. Clark, Liverpool, N.Y.; daughter, Cynthia L. Longo, Fulton; brother, Lewis W. Clark Sr., Cicero, N.Y.; sister, Beverly Finch, Altmar, N.Y.; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association.Memorial services will be held at a later date.
