CLARK, Donald Stuart Donnie will be forever lovingly remembered by his wife Pattie, children Roy (Tara) and precious grandson Ryan, Jennie (Robin), Jimmy (Lana) and many other family and friends. Predeceased by his parents George and Jean Clark of the pioneer Clark Family of Shirley. Donnie was born October 6th, 1949 in Victoria and raised in Sooke. Donnie "pitched ball" in various softball leagues and after moving into "town" continued his love of sports especially hockey as a player, coach and avid fan. Donnie left his mark on every light station on the coast, retiring from the Canadian Coast Guard after serving 37 years where he proudly worked in the Blacksmith Shop with "MY GUYS" as well as many crews and coworkers. Donnie's spirit will live on in the hearts and minds of all he touched as a kind, generous and hard working man who loved life, family and friends. He was a man of great courage, integrity and loyalty to all he held close, always ready with the "Donnie look" and crooked grin to offer his quick wit, kind word and encouragement. Funeral service will be held at McCall Bros., 1400 Vancouver Street, Victoria, BC on Friday, June 1st, 2007 at 10:00am. 373911
