Donald Bruce Jordan, 48, of Carrabelle, Fla., died on Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2009, in Frankiln County as a result of an automobile accident. Donald moved to this area in 1999 from Chino, Calif., where he began his career as a cook instructor working with various corrections companies. He was a former employee of CCA, Airmark Gulf County Prison and the Franklin County Prison in Carrabelle. He was Catholic by faith and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served for four years on the USS Barbey in the Persian Gulf. Donald also was a member of the APA (American Pool Association). He is preceded in death by his father, Harold B. Jordan; and is survived by his mother, Margaret J. Jordan of West Allis, Wis.; three brothers, Raymond H. Jordan of West Allis, Wis., David A. Jordan and wife, Julie, of Neenah, Wis., and Stephen P. Jordan and wife, Karen, of Panama City; sister, Jaime L. Kolehmainen and husband, Joel, of Milwaukee, Wis.; 10 nieces and nephews and seven grand-nieces and nephews. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 5-7 p.m. with cremation to follow.
