Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, March 5, 2012, at Morgan Funeral Chapel for Mrs. Dixie Louise Anderson, 85, of Gadsden, who went to be with her Lord on March 2, 2012. Chaplain Matthew Rose will officiate the service. Morgan Funeral Chapel & Crematory directing. Interment to follow at Forrest Cemetery. Mrs. Anderson enjoyed doing puzzles. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and friend.Louise was preceded in death by her husband, William Linton Anderson.Left behind to cherish her memory, daughters, Kathy (Jesse) Scarber and Michelle (Larry) Williams; sons, Roland (Lisa) Anderson, Michael Anderson and Charles Anderson; loving niece, Janie Clark (Dean), Texas; grandchildren, Terri, Chad, Kimberly, Mark, Noah, Tara, Derell, Justin, Bradley, Eric and Kyle. Mrs. Anderson is also survived by 11 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.Pallbearers will be Chad Scarber, Justin Williams, Derell Anderson, Eric Williams, Dylan Bivins and Kyle Williams.The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to Amedisys Hospice, especially nurse Joy, Carla and Teresa; thanks also to Dr. Thompson and staff, especially nurse Tracie.The family will accept friends for visitation from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at Morgan Funeral Chapel.
