BARRE - The funeral service for Dianne J. Davis, 75, of Prospect Street and formerly of Averill Street, was held on Thursday, May 3, 2012, at noon in the First Presbyterian Church in Barre. She died Sunday, April 29, 2012, at the Rowan Court Health and Rehabilitation Center in Barre. The Rev. Carl Hilton-VanOsdall, pastor, led the service. Organist Alison Cheroff provided the prelude and postlude music and accompanied the congregation in the hymns, "For the Beauty of the Earth" and "For All the Saints." Interment followed in the Hartford Cemetery in White River Junction with the Rev. VanOsdall offering the committal prayers. The bearers were brother-in-law Lawrence White; her nephew, Jeffrey White; and friend Richard White. Arrangements were under the direction of the Hooker and Whitcomb Funeral Home, 7 Academy St., Barre.
