O'BRYANT, DIANE JOYCE - On Thursday, January 6th, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital Diane passed away peacefully, after she lost her battle with cancer. Diane was born in Hamilton, ON, the daughter of the late William and Marjorie Stewart. Along with her parents and brother, Les, they lived in Stony Creek. Following her graduation from Hamilton General Hospital Nursing College she worked her entire life for the care of others. Most recently she worked in Saint John at the Irving Refinery and Canadian Blood Services. She will be remembered by her colleagues for her support and dedication in her chosen profession. Diane had a special place in her heart and life for her pets. Throughout her life she was mother to many lucky animals. Together with Jack they formed Jacobie Kennels that was home to her German Shepard champions. She leaves behind her beloved husband Jack, her daughters Liana Palmerio and her husband Mike of Oakville, ON, Erika Lowe and her husband Greg of Burlington, ON, her step-children Nicole Bedair and her husband Ahmed and Jack David O'Bryant, her brother Les Stewart and his wife Wendy of Surrey, BC, her grandchildren Regan, Brianah, Austin, Brandon and Zachery, her father-in-law and mother-in-law Jack and Saraphene O'Bryant, and many relatives and friends. Her family and friends mourn her passing while celebrating her life. Following cremation visiting will be held at Brenans Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), on Saturday from 5:00 until 8:00 PM. The memorial service will be held at St. Simon's Anglican Church, Oakville, ON (905-845-8351), at a time to be determined, followed by interment. Remembrances made to the New Brunswick Kennel Club would be appreciated. www.brenansfh.com
