JAMES, Diane Cunningham, 62, of Apollo Beach passed away Monday, April 12, 2004. She is survived by her daughter, Becky Scalese of Pembroke Pines, Fla.; three step children, Tom James of Pembroke Pines, Fla., Robin James and Laurie James, both of Bradenton, Fla.; and eight grandchildren, Andrew, Ashley, Timothy, Allison, Melani, Daniel, Alexis and Anthony, Jr. A native of Huntington, W. Va., she resided in the Brandon area since 1968 coming from St. Albans, W. Va. Diane was a member of First United Methodist Church of Brandon. She had taught at Brandon Senior High School, Chamberlain High and had served as assistant principal at East Bay High School. She was an active member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, Apollo Beach. Funeral services will be conducted 12 noon Tuesday, April 20, 2004 at the Stowers Brandon chapel. Interment to follow at Florida National Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in her memory. STOWERS-BRANDON
