BENNINGTON - Dennis M. Jordan, 51, died Dec. 2, 2008, at his residence, following a long illness.Born in Bennington March 23, 1957, he was the son of Llewellyn Jordan and Eunice (Maynard) Jordan.He was a 1975 graduate of Mount Anthony Union High School.Mr. Jordan was employed as a master plumber by Keith Miller Plumbing & Heating at the time of his death. He previously worked for other local plumbing contractors.He enjoyed hunting, fishing, motorcycles and NASCAR racing. He was a member of Green Mountain Riders motorcycle club and a co-founder of Beattie Hollow Sportsman's Club where he served as vice president.Survivors include his mother of Bennington; a sister, Linda Sandquist of Bennington; two brothers, Robert Jordan of East Sandwich, Mass., and Scott Jordan of Bennington; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his father and two brothers, Richard and Donald Jordan. At his request, services will be private.
