Dennis Edward Jackson Dennis Edward Jackson, 78, of Nixa, Mo., passed away at 11:58 a.m. Sunday, September 28, 2008, in St.John's Hospital. He was born on June 2, 1930, in Brighton, England. Dennis was the retired C.E.O. of Cambridge Lab. On May 23, 1968, in Springfield, Mo., he was united in marriage to Linda German. He loved to read, was an avid video game player and loved to travel. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Ethel (Dawson) Jackson; and a son, David E. Jackson. He is survived by his wife, Linda C. Jackson of the home; two children, Mark J. Jackson and wife, Wendy of Nixa, Mo., and Deborah Jackson and John Palmisano of Springfield, Mo.; grandchildren, Sara of the home, Laura and Jerry both of Nixa, and Amy of Branson; and by a host of family and friends and by his four dogs. Visitation will be held in Greenlawn Funeral Home East, from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, October 3, 2008. The family asks for memorials to be made to the Southwest Missouri Humane Society, 3161 W. Norton Rd., Springfield, MO 65803.
