Denise Marrolli-Peterson, 61, of Hamilton passed away Monday, June 24, 2013, at home.Born in Trenton, Denise was a lifetime area resident. She attended Hamilton Township Schools, graduated Steinert High School in 1969, Mercer County Community College in 2004 and received her BS in Nursing Science from Edison State College in 2008. She was retired after 25 years as a dispatcher for Hamilton Police and was most recently employed as a Registered Nurse with Care One at Hamilton. Denise was a former member of the Colonial Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, taught many CPR lifesaving classes and was a dog lover.Daughter of the late William and Sophie Sobolewski Gray and sister of the late Elenor Gray, she is survived by her husband; Franklin R. Peterson; her daughter; Melanie Layton; of PA, her brothers; James Gray; of New Hope, PA and Brian Gray; of Landenberg, PA, and her aunt; Dorothy Sobolewski; of Moorestown.Funeral service will be Monday (July 1) at 11 a.m. at Kingston & Kemp Funeral Home, 260 White Horse Ave., Hamilton (www.KingstonandKemp.com). Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton. Relatives and friends may call on Monday from 9:30-11 a.m. at the funeral home.
