Denise JohnsonDenise Getman Johnson left this earthly realm on March 24, 2012. She was born February 15, 1915 in Philadelphia, PA. She moved to Tallahassee in 1985. Her parents were Rene and Marie Pechin. She was a homemaker and raised three sons: Charles Francis Getman, III (Peggy) of Oakland, TN, Denis Shelby Getman (Kathy) of Highlands Ranch, Colorado and Guy Michael Getman (Ann) of Tallahassee.She was preceded in death by two husbands, Charles Francis Getman, Jr. and Enar Lawrence Johnson, as well as a grandson, Craig Getman and granddaughter, Laurie Getman O'Connor. She is survived by her three sons and their wives, grandsons: Steven, Christopher (Christy) and Michael; 2 granddaughters: Kim (Wayne) and Courtney; 3 great grandchildren; and a niece and a nephew.Denise lived a long and full life and she will be missed by all who loved her. May she rest in peace.
