CHICOPEE - Delores Catherine (Dwyer) Nadeau, age 77, passed away on Saturday, May 24, 2014, at home, surrounded by her loving family.She was born on Dec. 6, 1936 in Turners Falls, MA. She was a daughter of the late Jeremiah and Alfreda (Denkiewicz) Dwyer.She was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church. She was a member of the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed going to the beach, trips to the casino and entertaining family and friends.She leaves her loving husband, Robert P. Nadeau of Chicopee; four sons, Robert P. Nadeau Jr. and his wife Deborah of Chicopee, Ronald J. Nadeau and his fiancé Nichola Allesandroni of Chicopee, Michael J. Nadeau and his wife Nancy of Chicopee and John T. Nadeau of Springfield; one daughter, Donna M. Dacey and her companion Christopher Chaves of Mendon, MA; one sister, Sandra Gannon of Alabama; her grandchildren: Jonathan, Ryan, Kyle, Katelyn, John, Cooper, Mia and Casey, and also one great- grandchild, Cameron.Calling hours will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2014, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St., Chicopee, MA.A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 30, 2014, at 8 a.m. from the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Patrick's Church at 9 with burial to follow in the Mass.
